Mack Daddy

LOS ANGELES (YIFTM) - Superhuman, Kobe Bryant, dropped 60 points last night in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies. 65, 50, 60. That's Kobe's numbers in his last three games. Say what you will about his eccentricities or fondness for mediocre looking white girls, the dude can flat out play everyone out of the gym...that includes MJ.

Maybe that's blasphemous, but can you honestly say to yourself - based on pure offensive talent and skills, that Mike ever looked this good? In terms of scoring at will, without Scottie at your side, or a rock solid supporting cast...Kobe is by far the superior scoring threat.

He's also the most fascinating personality in all of sports. He's a 'big asshole baby' (props to Dan Dunne.) That's the most appropriate way to describe him. Never have I seen a grown man so insecure about his authority on the game. And maybe that's what makes him the best...constantly striving to silence his critics and who he perceives as his enemies.

There was a brief time in my own life when I tried to emulate Bryant, but after disastrous results at a Roger Ebert book signing and a Friday evening meal at Damon's (Whooooaaaa), I realized that the world is not big enough for two Kobe Bryants.

The world isn't big enough for 1 Gangsta Warner!

Fuckin' Kobe, turn on the Kobelight and let it shine. Asshole.

Better than MJ? This coming from a man who thinks Barry Bonds is the best baseball player to ever play.

That hole you're digging just got 60 points bigger.
