Directions to Where I Live

LONDONDERRY - What's up out of town friend? Man, it's been awhile - glad we finally got a weekend on the calendar. Dude, we are going to have an awesome day and a half. I've made a few plans, bought two tickets to the game on craigslist, cleaned my shower. No big deal - I'm just all about hanging out these days. I cannot wait to get a cup of coffee, talk about old times, catch up on life, etc. Man, I haven't even talked to you since the wedding! Crazy!

What have I been up to? Not too much man, not too much. No news is good news though, right? Can't complain!

Yeah, I'm really swamped at work too. Speaking of, I better wrap up this phone call because I have like seven voice mails and my Outlook is totally blowing up. Yeah, I get up early on Saturdays so whenever you get into town is no problem. The earlier, the better. The coffee will be brewing. Directions? Oh yeah, I'll email my address right now - just Mapquest it and you should be fine. I'm like the only apartment building on the street so it's easy to find - you'll see my car in the parking lot too. Oh, one more thing. Right before my street, make sure to turn left at the abandoned Popeyes.

Yeah, that's right - Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits - the fried chicken fast food restaurant. This particular location used to be in business, but is no longer. What's that? Yeah, I know living right next to a Popeyes is pretty depressing, but I live right next to an abandoned Popeyes. I've got my fingers crossed that we'll get a Noddles & Co., or Chin's or something, but I'm guessing the building will just stay empty. No, I don't think the closing was due to gentrification - I think there were just like too many robberies or something. Strange, because there's a police station like a block away.

I took a peek at the dumpster area today and there were two lonely snow shovels resting against the faded red and yellow-brick wall. The chain link door was blowing in the wind and creaking like something out of an old movie. There was a wire-rack shelving unit in there also. I'm too afraid to look into the actual building.

Oh good - I'm glad you got my address - that email got to you pretty fast. Now don't forget, that's a left at the abandoned Popeyes. Dude, dude, dude, dude - I totally forgot. I'm such an idiot! I forgot you moved a year ago. Well I didn't forget, but I totally envisioned you in my mind at your old place, but I know you moved - duh! So you'll be coming from the north - that means you take a right at the tavern/restaurant that has been abandoned for a year+ now. OK, see you tomorrow, peace.

I'm comfortably confused. I'll go on the record as saying I'd pay for anything beatbox writes.

Yup. I'd work overtime to read a Mij article.

Glad to have you back. You can help shoulder the pain of this life sucking site.
