Lajaweejon Fridays Week 2

GLENDALE, CA (YIFTM) – So week 2 of Lajaweejon Fridays. You’ve made it through an entire week. Congratulations. A celebration is certainly in order. Instead of instantly grabbing your favorite Har Mar Superstar album to help you set your emotional groove, why not try Hoss by Lajaweejon (AKA Lagwagon). As a mid 90’s Fat Wreck Chords release you’re sure to feed your pop-punk cravings in a not-unsettling way.

I was with beatbox at the Exclusive Company on State St. when I purchased this album. For a while my favorite by the Southern California group, Hoss is (for me) a ticket for red carpet treatment in the land of nostalgia.

Put it on. Give it a once, perhaps twice through, and although there isn’t any cutting edge DJ work, it’s still an extremely pleasant listen.

HAPPY LAJAWEEJON FRIDAYS EVERYONE!

Do you have every album containing a song featured on Survival? If not, what are you missing?

I'm missing Wizo, the Me First Denver 7", the Good Riddence album, High Standard, and the Frenzel Rhomb album. But I'm not sure I'd want those.

Do you ever listen to that album? It's hard to enjoy now because I've listened to it so much.

Maybe in time.
