A Saturday Night in Los Angeles Part I

Part 1
I went to a show the other night. $5 cover. Minh and I were early; actually we were right on time. The flier said 10pm, so naturally I figured that meant the show started at 10. We rolled up (albeit AFTER 10) so early that we got in for free. My roommate and I walked in, past the 5 overly dressed makeshift barmaids and towards the stage, but something was amiss. There was no music. Perhaps we were too early.

After several moments of indecisive, yet calmly executed heated discussion, my roommate and I decided to exit the venue and return roughly an hour later. We did so. Minh said something like, “There looks to be something over there. Let’s head in that direction.” But unlike 3PO I decided to trust my counterpart and follow his lead. This proved to be beneficial.

We got to the end of the street and found nothing to satisfy our time wasting needs. “Shit” I thought. “Oh well. I’m tired, let’s just fucking go home” I thought to myself. As we stood at the corner of somestreet and another somestreet in downtown Los Angeles, not Hollywood but LA, we eagerly searched for a safe haven to fill our time wasting agenda. What we found was both vivid and time consuming…

"Vivid and time consuming" . . . did you stumble upon the Yeah, I Figured That Much Live Experience at Universal Studios?

Also, you resemble R2D2, not minh. Although 3PO's worrisome whining is spot on for comparison sakes.

Can't wait to be disappointed by part 2...which will probably never see the light of day.

I hear E is doing a True Hollywood Story on Yeah, I Figured That Much.

It'll be interesting to see everybody in the same room together.
