Hi, I'm 17...

LOS ANGELES - His name is Malcolm Mays. He's 17 and a senior at Fairfax High. In between finals and maneuvering his way around the inadvertent cross hairs of rival gangs, Mr. Mays is busy filming his first feature film, Trouble, of which he is writer, director, and lead actor. The film is being produced by Todd Black, producer of the Will Smith box office hit, The Pursuit of Happyness and the recently released Denzel Washington vehicle, The Great Debaters.

David Halbfinger of The New York Times has a great article detailing the trials and tribulations. Get inspired here: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/27/movies/27mays.html?pagewanted=1

I'm convinced if we grew up in Hollywood, production of "The Illusive Crazy L" would be in full production.

As well as "The Dark Forest" and "The Hustle of Jack Johnson by the Coward Big Daddy Smitty."

I'm wondering how many homes would be furnished with the Crazy L figure.

Mine would.
