The New Proverbs
LONDONDERRY - I am the guy who created the proverb, "That's like fisting a sparrow." It may have not made it to your corner of the world yet, but it is on the way. Use it when something is futile or overkill.
Now onto new business. I was lucky enough to be present at the birth of a new proverb a few months back. I finally have a forum to begin spreading its use. It's birth date was 1/5/07 at a Milwaukee Bucks game. Gangsta is the proud father of:
"This ain't no kiss cam!"
It's birth stems from a random crowd camera that catches off-guard spectators. It's cousin is the "kiss cam" that is popular in many other arenas across the country. On this occasion the kiss cam had the night off. The random camera was going around catching kids and their friends, families, buddies enjoying a beer. When the camera reached a young couple, after some hesitation they shared a kiss. Gangsta was on point and yelled, "This ain't no kiss cam!" before the smooch had even finished. He was right - the unmistakable "Kiss Cam" purple and red graphic was nowhere to be seen. The kiss was null and void.
Use it when something is out of context or not appropriate for the given situation.

Oh shit. There was this time when GDUB had the green car and we were pulling out of Woodmans on the west side. Good ol GDUB took literally 5 minutes to pull out of the parking lot, for fear of upsetting any passing motorist. The guy behind us was so pissed he pulled into the oncoming traffic lane to get around the GDUB going in the same direction as us.
I'll never forget that.

I remember L. Lippy grabbing some girl's backside with Steve-o the night us3 went to the Bucks-Bulls game w/ R.B.'s frat.
I don't remember that. I think I inhaled.
She was into it - and smiled at you guys. I don't know the context of it all - Gangsta and I were getting reacquainted on film or something stupid and we were a couple rows up from you. Too funny! You obviously chose the better group to hang with that night.
