LONDONDERRY - I will finish L. Lippy-G. Wagner Day with the following thoughts.

This is truly a Triple Crown undertaking and there is a lot of talent in the Y.I.T.S. stable. We have L. Lippy - powerful, quick, loyal - a true thoroughbred and the reason were all here. He never needs a photo finish - always beats everyone by a mile. And I hear he's hung like a horse.

We've been missing our jockey lately though - our tiny, tiny jockey. A "man" who is just along for the ride, gets a lot of the glory and whips the thoroughbred relentlessly. If that doesn't sound like G.W., I don't know how to make his identity more affirmed.

When both are working together, great things can be accomplished. Yes, this is an inherently risky undertaking, for thoroughbred and jockey, but the rewards at the finish line are worth the risk. Let's not lose sight of that finish line.
