Under A Brown Sky

Yes we’ve been having our run of fires lately. No I didn’t start any.

We’ve been having close to 80 mph winds here at the YIFTM West Coast HQ, and I guess winds have hit almost 100 mph on the coast. I guess there was a castle in Malibu. I guess there isn’t one anymore.

I took this photo on Sunday evening. I’ve seen beautiful skies. I’ve even seen it raining ash, but until yesterday I’ve never seen a dark brown sky. Although we’re safe here, there is an uneasy level of concern for some coworkers as a few live in a probable evacuation zone while some others show an audible concern for their friends and family.

I sincerely hope the wind dies down. Our pool is an absolute mess.
