LOS ANGELES - Congratulations are in order for director Robert Rodriguez and actor Joaquim De Almeida as the two have just been named winners of this week's poll question, "Who's the best director/actor of all time?"
The two finished well ahead of frequent collaborators Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro (Raging Bull, Taxi Driver), Akira Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune (The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo), and Francois Truffaut and Jean Pierre Leaud (The Antoine Doinel Films.) What's so astonishing is the pair have worked together only once before, on the highly stylized action film, Desperado.
De Almeida accepted the award on the team's behalf at a ceremony held in downtown Los Angeles.
"America has spoken loud and clear and in turn acknowledges the mark left behind by a simple story involving mariachis, guitar cases full of guns, and a stone cold villain that goes by the name of Bucho."
Both men will receive complimentary tickets to the Yeah, I Figured That Much 1 Year Anniversary Celebration Banquet to be held Jan 1st at the Mann's Chinese Theatre.
The remaining teams will receive consolation prizes of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the Antonio Banderas Experience Volume II.

It's refreshing to finally see that my vote has contributed to a winner.
This one's for you Bucho!
I wonder if Joaquim De Almeida will be nominated for the Bucho this year for his frequent roles in Yeah, I Figured That Much productions.
