Obama Receives an Endorsement He Can't Refuse

RUDI - The Sopranos' Robert De Niro made a surprise endorsement of Barack Obama over the weekend, in appropriately enough, New Jersey, the location of his recently-canceled HBO series. The "heavy" in countless gangster films, De Niro has become used to whacking his on-screen competition. Now he must whack doubts in many voters minds that Obama is not experienced enough to be commander in chief.

"I'm Robert De Niro...you voting with me, you voting with the best," De Niro said.

Many were confused when Obama initially seemed to be insulted by De Niro's warm-up speech. After being referred to in jest as "inexperienced", the would-be Democratic candidate directly asked the Goodfella, "You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little f***** up maybe, but I'm inexperienced how?" This went on a little too long for most audience member's comfort, but the crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when Obama revealed he was simply joking.

Time for Commander in Treat.

Is this a clever stab at the exhausting similarites among mob movies or just a cleverly written editorial on De Niro's love of black people?

I'm too stupid to decipher. Help.
