Clean Ride
Sure to get green car enthusiast's hearts racing, Tesla Motors began production last week on it's 2008 Tesla Roadster.
Touting it as a response to consumers clamoring for "beautiful, high performance cars that could generate zero-emissions and burn no oil", the manufacturer claims the 100% electric sports car can go from 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds and gets 135 mpg.
And you thought environmentally friendly cars had no zoom. Finally, design equal to performance and efficiency. If I had $98K, I'd buy one. Those of our readers that do, take a number. Tesla reports the entire stock of 2008 models are sold out, but are currently taking reservations for 09.

Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs
Fuckin' up the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign
At the risk of ridicule, what's this from?
Frybyrd, care to inform Master Dub?
And the sign says "long haired freaky people need not apply"
So I tucked my hair up under my hat
and I went in to ask him why
He said "you look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do"
So I took off my hat and said "imagine that, me working for you"
Fatboy Slim samples that song to great effect.
Who's the original by?
Also, I'm sorry for not coming out for you birthday. It was totally selfish of me and I should've been there. Forgive me please.
The original was done by Five Man Electrical Band in '71.
In 1990, Tesla covered it on their "Five Man Acoustical Jam" album. I have both versions, and both are good.
By the way -
I will NEVER forgive you, you selfish BASTARD! *SOB*
;)
