YIFTM's Album of the Week

GLENDALE, CA (YIFTM) – Continuing a now weekly collaborative tradition by the heads of the Midwest and West Coast offices, we’ve managed to “pick out a winner.” As the unspoken soundtrack to the Yeah, I Figured That Much site, the Judgement Night Soundtrack speaks a tale volumes wide, and bodies deep. Just finding out today that Rage Against the Machine and Tool were slated to contribute to the artist collaboration heavy, and nearly perfect album, the tracks that give this album life don’t require the graced presence of either Rage or Tool. The album highlight is without a doubt the Slayer and Ice-T balls-to-the-wall song, Disorder. Slayer drums, that’s all that needs mentioning.

Other highlights include the Onyx and Biohazard title track to the film, Judgement Night. (I remember Jr. High dances when DJ Draheim would get scolded by Mr. Quade for that song’s lyrical content)

This album, and of course I speak for everyone here at Yeah, I Figured, is arguably the best soundtrack album ever (with exception to Desperado and Out of Sight).

Spring is in the air, or depending on where you live at least on the calendar. So grab your cd or cassette of the Judgement Night Soundtrack, your boombox, the round ball and the rim adjusting stick and let the dunking begin!

Man I remember listening to that tape on like a bus trip for basketball to like Beaver Dam or something - we traveled pretty far away for a game on a school night once - got home real late. I need to find that cd for a dollar somewhere.
