LOS ANGELES -- Milwaukee Brewers Chris Capuano, Bill Hall, J.J. Hardy and Jeff Suppan will be appearing as themselves on an upcoming episode of CBS's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. The group is scheduled to tape their scene tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at CBS in Los Angeles, and each player has a speaking role. The episode will air on Wednesday, June 20 on the CBS Television Network.


In this scene, the players will be joining Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at a photo op for his campaign for Wisconsin state senate. Also appearing in the scene are Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and Ben Hollander (Billy Warlock). The show is set in Genoa City, Wis. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the Number One rated daytime drama for more than 18 years and is in its 35th season. It is currently nominated for a 2007 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Drama. The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
