Counter Programming...

Announced earlier today, the Gangsta--AKA Charles Warner, has sold the rights to his life story to director Josh Shayne for an undisclosed sum and a very lucrative back end deal, of which details have not been made pubic.

The autobiographical film entitled: Tempting Charles Warner, is reportedly based on actual events, most of which have have largely been speculated and embellished by his co-horts at YITS.

The Gangsta, himself has only released a veiled "No comment," in regards to the deal itself. He did however relent to the constant nagging and baiting when asked about the casting.

"They told me they were looking at Filipinos. They wanted to keep it real and for the most part they did. Except for that element. And, I don't wear glasses. These eyes are 40/40 bitch!"

Acclaimed film critic Roger Ebert raved, "[Tempting Charles Warner] is maddening if you are not in sympathy with it, mesmerizing if you are."

Finally a main character audience members worldwide can identify with!

A film brimming with magnanimous emotional heft. Suddenly the fall movie season is injected with the kind of heart absent from modern cinema.

I'm not sure if the audiences will be able to follow the pratfalls of the Gangsta.

There seems to be many women and an inevitable path to heartbreak.

Or maybe an orgy. Hard to say from the trailer how true to life the filmmakers intend to follow the Gangsta's inspirational story.

Hard hitting and unapolegetic. Uncomfortable like an episode of Curb, "Tempting Charles Warner" will be hard to watch. But moviegoers need to be forced into submission and this film will be the perfect conduit for audience members to explore their own inner demons through the bumbling adventures of a young man searching for love in all the wrong vaginas...er, places.

It's a testament to complexity of the Gangsta that two films will showcase his life lessons.

"American Gangster" and "Tempting Charles Warner" should be distributed much like "Grindhouse."

The content(highly stylized dialogue and gratuitous nudity/violence) of those grindhouse features are readily apparent in both Warner films, so very little editing will have to be done.

This movie is lame. Everybody knows that tempting Charles Warner is as easy as the Brewers blowing a lead.

I mean, had this picture been titled, "Charles Warner Does the Right Thing" THEN it might be worth a second viewing.

You know, because everybody knows (CW included) that Charles Warner NEVER does the right thing.

And how could he?

Look who his friends are...
