Out from the alleys and into your streets. Hennessy rants.

(cut and pasted from the back alleys of the comment section to a previous article written on 2/20/8 titled An Open Letter to the Voters of Wisconsin.)

A person who does not believe in the power of democracy.

Voting is a fraud and waste of time.
We don't decide shit in this country. It doesn't matter who gets in, it will take multiple terms for anyone to dig the country out it's current state.

The candidates out there fail to address that fact. It will take whoever gets in nearly 3/4 of their first term just to just slightly get things to some improved state. Bush is leaving the country with significantly less jobs and a poorer overall economy. The entire world hates us more now than 8 years ago. He's walking out of office next January smirking because he got to do what he wanted, his way, and he left a bag a shit for someone else to handle. And, he got to do it while a Democratic congress sat with it's collective thumbs up it's ass in chaotic disarray.

So, I am just someone with little hope for anyone who wins the nomination in any camp.

I'm mostly someone sick of seeing the two Democratic candidates bicker like idiots over non-issues instead of debating like they have a pair.
I hate that the only thing that gets pumped through air about Obama is that he is for Change.
Good, so am I. What else?
I hate that the only thing that gets pumped into the air about Clinton is having been there. Great, experience. What the fuck else are you?

Neither can handle the job they want. And, in fact no one who would get in can. They're going to be doing damage control for long time. That's not progressive and I don't like the idea of taking steps back in an effort to move forward.

In my mind, democracy would entail 100,000 people with pitchforks and torches standing outside the White House demanding a change or else. We're either too apathetic or too uninformed as a mass to do this.

If your President has a 35% approval rating and those check and balances don't reel him in, that's a problem.

Most people can't continue to stay employed if a so few approve of performance.

It should be added that the first line is a response to a question posed by J.Dot.

Who are you?
