Post No. 551 BRETT FAVRE RETIRES

For a long time Green Bay has been the heart of the NFL, but their Commander in Chief has decided to step down. After 17 season and numerous records, Brett Favre will get a taste of life off the field. I for one am saddened and dismayed. One thing is for sure, as great as Favre was on the field, he’ll be even greater in our memories.

Thank you Brett for giving life to modern day professional football in Wisconsin. You will be missed far beyond imagination.

The Franchise has left the state!

I hope Brett wisely shuns all attempts to get more information out him. I hope he tells all the Wisconsin reporters and news stations who have traveled to Hattiesburg, Miss. that he is not longer an employee of the Green Bay Packers. He is not longer a football player and has nothing more to say--except: "Get the fuck off my grass and go home, you damn kids!"
