YIFTM Announces New JDot Single Series
Yeah, I Figured That Much’s JDot announces 12” single series. Kicking off with the classic Lancre Factory, JDot’s blend of lazy electro lueptronic sound is proof that Yeah, I Figured That Much can feed your ears as well as your mind. Recorded in April of 2008, this first in a series of JDot singles will be released exclusively through JDot recordings.
Yeah, I Figured That Much was extremely fortunate to win out in a high pressured bidding war for the opportunity to work with freelance designer LK. LK designed both the 12” single series cover as well as the JDot recordings logo. Admire LK's illustrious body of work here.

It's great to work with a client who allocates a large budget to it's visual identity with an understanding of building it's brand equity from the get go.
What it really boils down to is the music. Music is an artform that has no tactile aspect except for when it comes to it's packaging. I'm really flattered to have the chance to aid YIFTM's JDot in developing the desired perception of his unique brand of electro, known in the underground as lueptronic.
It wasn't so much a battle of who was proposing a better project as it was a battle for myself to shift around existing jobs in my, booked-to-the-brim, schedule to accommodate this rare opportunity to work with the talented JDot of YIFTM.
Alas, the series is taking hold and more releases are in the works. LK is stoked to have bridged the gap with this first piece and looks ahead to collaborating with YIFTM's JDot recordings on future releases.

I wouldn't say LK's immense talents are wasted on this site. I'd say LK is a very generous individual who contributes leaps and bounds to charities such as Yeah.
And what are we attempting to raise money for? Global deportation of king idiots JDot and GDub.
