Full Count

With the writers strike priced at $21 million a day, several questions race through the mind; Where is that money coming from? Where is it going? And why the hell aren’t we seeing any of it?

We here at Yeah, I Figured have been on strike for longer than we’ve been in production. We’ve built the foundation of this site on the just belief that we aren’t getting our fair share, nor do we deserve what we have. As the writers AND the CEO’s, it’s an odd situation sitting through a meeting in the Irony office.

Yesterday at my “day job” all of us bored souls gathered near the window overlooking Hollywood Blvd to gaze at the congregation of WGA protestors that swarmed the street. (See photo) With binoculars we were successfully unable to pick out anyone we recognized.

It was a humbling experience (not for me) to see such a mass crowd organize with one specific idea in mind. That idea, BRING DOWN YEAH, I FIGURED THAT MUCH.
