Led Zeppelin YITS

RUDI - Led Zeppelin plays tonight for the first time in 19 years. Looks like it's the second hottest ticket around behind the soon-to-be-canceled YITS New Year's Bash. Hopefully Rocket from the Crypt will do a one-off show in 17 years or so. The hope of seeing them live again is the only thing keeping me alive.

Actually, if Rocket played on a Monday night I'd have to think about it.

Where is your pic Treatgrease?

Also, thanks for calling me back this weekend, dick.

He was too busy Christmas shopping and annoying me.

I'm scared that the removal of Greasetreat's pic from the right side only means he needs it fill another white space on walls of 5 Rudi.

Oh yeah, I had another hilarious photo, but deleted the whole thing by accident. Please re-post - thanks. Sorry Dot, I'm kind of shooting to have everybody hate me and not be on speaking terms - and you are the last one on my list. I won $15 in fantasy football this weekend. That will buy me a lot of 4x6 prints!!!

Best Zeppelin album anyone?

III gets my vote.

YITS is the Roman numerals on their new album. III is the only one I'm into though.

My dad digs II, but Houses of the Holy is a great 2nd place for me.

I is pretty much 4 stars as well.

Yeah, they were a pretty damn good band.

Treatgrease, do you have any other albums by them?

Just got this email:

The show just ended at the 02 Arena, and there were some surprises: alongside the hoary classics (”Stairway to Heaven,” “Kashmir”) there was a strong selection of deeper cuts (”Trampled Under Foot,” “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”) and one live debut (Presence’s “For Your Life”). Tomorrow, we’ll have David Fricke’s complete report from the Ahmet Ertegun Benefit, but until then, here’s the full set list:

“Good Times, Bad Times”
“Ramble On”
“Black Dog”
“In My Time of Dying”
“For Your Life”
“Trampled Under Foot”
“Nobody’s Fault But Mine”
“No Quarter”
“Since I’ve Been Lovin’ You”
“Dazed and Confused”
“Stairway To Heaven”
“The Song Remains the Same”
“Misty Mountain Hop”
“Kashmir”

Encore:
“Whole Lotta Love”
“Rock and Roll”

How come no one's asking me about Led Zepplin?

I like the Puff Daddy remix used in the Godzilla movie.

JDot said...

The only Zeppelin you have is the best of. We don't consider you a fan.

gdub said...

I don't even have that.

Puff Daddy invented the remix.

Frybyrd said...

People who actually use the phrase "Puff Daddy Remix" in a conversation about Zeppelin albums automatically disqualify themselves from the conversation...

gdub said...

Hey...Zeppelin signed off on it and gave the Puffster their full blessing, so make of that what you will...
