Holiday Gift Guide
SANTA CECELIA, MEXICO - Parents looking for last minute gift ideas, need not look further than this:
Just in time for the holidays, Santa Cecelia based Guitarista Industries has released an action figure commemorating the heroic bloodshed of seminal kids' classic, Desperado.
Called simply "El", the figure is a 3 3/4 inch realization of the character made popular by actor Antonio Banderas in the 1995 hit film.
Popular website, Yeah, I Figured That Much, has given the toy its highly touted gold star rating. The site feels it will make an excellent addition to the Shrek 3 line of toys based around Banderas' Puss in Boots character.
"What better way to cross breed two very distinct lines of movie franchises into one," said Yeah I Figured CEO, JDot.
"Both films are about an outcast hero's attempts to defeat evil so implementing one toy with another shouldn't be difficult."
JDot also acknowledged that the universal appeal of Antonio Banderas would put a smile on any child's face this Christmas.
"I'd hate to be the kid on Christmas Morning opening presents and not receiving an El action figure. What kid wouldn't want to open at least one gift containing a little piece of Antonio?"
He continued, "In fact, I'd go so far to say that the parents who do not give their kids an El action figure this Christmas, should have their kids taken away from them by social services. This is child abuse in it's most purest form. No question."
El action figures can be found at local 7 Elevens nationwide or online at www.yeahifigured.com.
