Mountain Top
Actor Heath Ledger has passed away at age 28.
Tragedies happen in droves on a daily basis. So I'm not saying a celebrity's death is anymore important or newsworthy than a 'normal' person's. It certainly doesn't warrant a memorial over the old lady upstairs or the soldier in Iraq.
What I'm saying is that sometimes the movies provide the best escape from the shit life takes on itself at times.
That said, check out Mr Ledger's performance in "Brokeback Mountain." It's an absolute flawless execution of passion restrained.

I'm eagerly looking forward to his interpretation of the classic Batman villain.
Should be a good flick.
I wouldn't mind laying naked in Mary-Kate's bed either...maybe just not so dead.
Is that wrong? Too soon?!?
Who the hell is The Azninvasion? Sounds oriental.
Ain't no oriental I know. We Asians tend to exhibit a certain amount of class and restraint.
For instance, that comment would be totally appropriate, had it been posted today.
Seriously though, I'm having a hard time accepting that dude is dead. I personally wasn't a fan, but like such celebrity deaths as Jimmy Stewart and John Candy, Heath Ledger's passing comes as a surprising shock.
Surprising not in that the individual is dead, but surprising in that the wave of reality that this event set off triggered me damned near close to my core.
Much like the shock one would feel had Rickey Henderson said anything intelligent.
Fortunately, this may still occur. Although I wouldn't hold your breath.
You wouldn't hold my breath?
How could you?
JERRY SEINFELD IS A FUUUNNY GUY!!!
That's what I tell people.
Actually I could hold your breath by wrapping my eager fingtips around your neck and squeezing.
"...then who's gonna clean up the blood n*gga?"
"AND IT'S DEEP TOO!"
no worries...this will be a 'clean' kill.
"I TELL YOU WHAT."
Whattaboy.
